This memorial website was created in the memory of our beloved angel, Juniper Marie Little Owl, "Holy Blossom", who was born in North Dakota on August 15, 2006 and passed away on November 12, 2006 . We will remember her forever. Juniper Marie was 6lbs. 4 oz. and 18.75 inches long born in Minot, North Dakota at Trinity Hospital at 11:20am. She was a very good baby, always content. She left her sister Ariana (2 yrs. old), her dad and I (mom) due to SIDS. She was rushed to Trinity Hospital in Minot, North Dakota but there was nothing they could do for her. It's hard to wake up and find your baby girl not moving or breathing or crying or anything! She is deeply missed by her parents, sister, grandparents, and her special aunt Amber Dawn.
A Letter From Above
To Mommy & Daddy,
I know this is a rough time for you, so I will be as gentle as I can be.
First of all, thank you for so many tears, they are a gift to me, a precious tribute that shows your love for me.
As you do your mourning, do it at your pace only, don't let anybody suggest that you do your grief work on their time table. Do whatever it takes to face directly the reality of what has happened, even though you may need to pause frequently and yearn for my return. Do this with courage and my blessings.
Give your best to keeping a balance between remembering me & renewing your commitments to life. It's okay with me if you go through minutes, hours & even days not thinking about me. I know that you'll never forget. Losing me and grabbing hold of a new meaning is a delicate art. I'm not sure if one comes before the other or not, maybe it's a combination.
Be with people who accept you as you are. Mention my name out loud, and if they don't make a hasty retreat, they're probably excellent candidates for friendship.
If by a remote possibility you think there was anything you could have done for me and didn't, as my lord does, I forgive you. Resentment does not abide here, only love.
You know how people sometimes ask "how many kids do you have"? Well, I'm still yours and you're still my parents. So tell them, of what happened to me and where I am. Always acknowledge that with tenderness, unless to do so would fall on insensitive ears or would be painful to you. I know how you feel inside, and to be included as your child, honors me.
I want you both to know that I am okay, and have sent you messages to ease your pain. They come in the form of flowers that bloom out of season, birds singing, voices & visions and sometimes through your friends.
Just remember as much as you miss & love me, I miss & love you too. I am busy working up here, planning the celebration when we will all be together again.

Survivor
My mom is a survivor, or so I've heard it said.
But I can hear her crying at night when all others are in bed.
I watch her lay awake at night and go to hold her hand.
She doesn't know I'm with her to help her understand.
But like the sands on the beach that never wash away......
I watch over my surviving mom, who thinks of me each day.
She wears a smile for others.....a smile of disguise!
But through heaven's door I see tears flowing from her eyes.
My mom tries to cope with death to keep my memory alive.
But anyone who knows her, knows it is her way to survive.
As I watch over my surviving mom through heaven's open door...
I try to tell her that angels protect me forevermore.
I know that doesn't help her...or ease the burden she bears,
So if you get a chance, go visit her.....and show her that you care.
For no matter what she says...no matter what she feels,
my surviving mom has a broken heart, that time won't ever heal. |

I'll See You In Heaven
Thank you Mom & Dad
for the little time we had together.
As I strolled through Heaven's Gates,
I was greeted by a heavenly host.
They said, "Follow us, Oh little one,
We will show you who loves you most."
As I gazed through Heaven's portal,
crying, looking down.....
there you stood Mom & Dad
with a bright light all around.
Then I knew you were not alone,
I saw Jesus by your side.
He will help you with all your sorrow,
with you he will always abide.
I later asked our lord, here in heaven,
as he sat me on his knee,
"Please, when its time for them to come,
can their souls again be with me?"
I know its hard for you to understand
that my time here on earth was so very short.
But always keep me in your memories,
just as we keep love in each other's heart.
Look toward the heavens,
You will see my star shining bright.
Thank God for all your blessings,
I'll visit you in your dreams each night.
I love you more than when you gave me birth,
and I thank you for the life to me, you gave.
A crown of pearls is waiting for each of you,
For my soul, you gave to him to save. |
